What a damaged bumper cover can hide
The painted bumper cover is the part you see. Mounts and other parts behind it can be damaged too, so a mark on the outside does not always show the full job. Augie’s lists bumper and body repair. Tell the shop what happened, if you know, and where the damage is visible; the vehicle needs a closer look to settle what needs repair.
Repaint or wrap: the existing paint matters
If you want a different color or finish, look at the paint you have now. Wrap film needs a sound surface; peeling paint, rust or an older repaint can affect how the wrap looks and what happens when it is removed. Wrapping over failing paint does not repair it. If the paint itself needs work, ask about painting rather than covering the problem with a wrap. Augie’s lists full and custom painting as well as vinyl wraps, so describe the finish you want and any areas where the paint is already damaged.
Get an estimate for the work your car needs
Choose the work you are asking about and enter your name and phone number. You can add a description and photos, but neither is required. A close-up of the damage and a wider view of the car can show what is visible; photos cannot reveal everything behind a bumper cover or settle the condition of the paint.
The request starts the conversation. The vehicle needs to be seen before the work and estimate can be settled.
